Friends of the Midwives, a network committed to education about midwifery and support for its implementation in Manitoba are working to ensure that the work of the Manitoba Midwifery Implementation Council is accurately reflected in the law. They are urging supporters of midwifery to be part of letter writing campaigns to MLA’s and presentations to committee between second and third readings of the legislation.
